Kevin Rivas is an experienced college and graduate school admissions consultant with over 15 years of experience in counseling, coaching, and education. He holds a Master of Education in Educational Counseling (K-12 & Higher Education) from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts in Child & Adolescent Development from California State University, Northridge. Kevin has worked in varied educational environments — including K-12 schools, community colleges, and university settings — equipping him with a broad and practical understanding of student development and admissions systems.
Kevin’s philosophy is rooted in guiding (not directing) students through the process, helping them discover their strengths, articulate their goals, and build competitive applications tailored to their aspirations. He has supported students from around the world in gaining admission to competitive undergraduate programs, prestigious graduate schools, and selective professional programs, including law and medical schools. Kevin also serves as a college professor teaching about college and career success, further strengthening his insight into effective preparation and student development.
